Meet Dr. Konikoff
Dr. Joshua Konikoff was born and raised in the Virginia Beach - Norfolk Area, where dentistry has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. With a father who has cared for patients as a dentist in Hampton Roads for more than four decades and a mother who was a dental hygienist, he grew up seeing firsthand the importance of trust, relationships, and truly caring for patients.
Dr. Konikoff earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Touro College of Dental Medicine in New York before completing a General Practice Residency at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. There, he gained extensive experience across comprehensive general dentistry while treating patients with a wide range of dental and medical needs.
After completing his residency, Dr. Konikoff returned home to Virginia Beach to create Konikoff Cares Dental, a practice built around his vision of dentistry being personal, comfortable, modern, and centered around lasting relationships. Dr. Konikoff believes patients deserve a dentist who takes the time to listen, clearly explains their options, and treats them like a person rather than a procedure. His goal is simple: for every patient to feel genuinely known and cared for.
